Today after breakfast, we visit Neuschwanstein Castle. Located 2 hours from Munich, the enchanting old-world town of Füssen lies in the foothills of the Alps, framed by one of the most breathtaking natural settings in the world. Towering far above the village, seemingly sculpted out of the very mountains that rise magnificently to the heavens, is a sight made from the stuff of dreams: the fabulous and ethereal Neuschwanstein Castle. This glorious folly was built in the 19th-Century by the famed "mad" King Ludwig II, a man intoxicated by mythology and who himself became a legend. The shimmering white towers of the castle among the clouds are instantly recognizable to many who haven’t ever heard the name Neuschwanstein. It is the inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle and is famous the world over as the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang castle. Return back to Munich in evening for overnight stay. Day 8: Prague City Tour with Prague Castle & Visit Christmas Markets

Enjoy your breakfast today before we head out on a city tour in Prague. A guide will accompany you to Hradcany Castle which is a name referring to the large number of palaces, churches, offices, courtyards, and gardens within 110 acres of land. The castle was built in the 9th century and is one of the biggest in the world and is the current seat of the President of the Czech Republic. Next is the Cathedral of St. Vitus, which is a Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral in Prague. It’s also the seat of the Archbishop of Prague and is the largest and most important cathedral in Prague that saw the coronations of multiple Czech kings and queens. The Astronomical Clock is another historical piece of work attached to the Old Town Hall made during the medieval era. Then visit the Old Town Square which is a historical square filled with old buildings of various time period architecture from the 1400s. We’ll then visit the Charles Bridge which is a stone Gothic bridge that allows us to cross the Vltava River, connecting the Old Town and Lesser Town.
